When I go to bed at night, i expect to have dreams.  Well, sometimes i do, sometimes i don't.  Regardless, when i dream, it either makes for a good morning or a bad morning.  A year ago on March 14, 2006, I had a dream.  I dreamt that my grandbaby Taylor was born at 4:45 in the morning at Kaiser Hospital in Orange.  I dreamt of seeing her for the first time, all red and wrinkled but wide awake.  I dreamt that when i called her name, she turned and looked at me acknowledging my presence with her lovely eyes.  I dreamt that it felt good to touch her tiny little hands and feet.  I dreamt that i whispered to her that i will always love her.  That day my morning was good, and has been  good and will forever be good, for my dream is now a reality, my beautiful dream girl, my "Taylor Girl" is one year old today.  Happy Birthday my "Yabang Girl"  Here's wowa's song for you

Catch a falling star an’ put it in your pocket,
Never let it fade away!
Catch a falling star an’ put it in your pocket,
Save it for a rainy day!

For love may come an' tap you on the shoulder,
Some star-less night!
Just in case you feel you wanna’ hold her,
You’ll have a pocketful of starlight!

Catch a falling star an’ ( Catch a falling . . . ) put it in your pocket,
Never let it fade away! ( Never let it fade away! )
Catch a falling star an’ ( Catch a falling . . . ) put it in your pocket,
Save it for a rainy day! ( Save it for a rainy day! )

For love may come and tap you on the shoulder,
Some star-less night!
An’ just in case you feel you wanta’ hold her,
You’ll have a pocketful of starlight!

Catch a falling star an’ ( Catch a falling . . . ) put it in your pocket,
Never let it fade away! ( Never let it fade away! )
Catch a falling star an’ ( Catch a falling . . . ) put it in your pocket,
Save it for a rainy day! ( Save it for a rainy . . . Save it for a rainy, rainy rainy day! )

For when your troubles startn’ multiplyin’,
An' they just might!
It’s easy to forget them without tryin’,
With just a pocketful of starlight!

Catch a falling star an’ ( Catch a falling . . . ) put it in your pocket,
Never let it fade away! ( Never let it fade away! )
Catch a falling star an’ put it in your pocket,
Save it for a rainy day!

( Save it for rainy day! ) Save it for a rainy day!

Today, I pay tribute to a SPECIAL person - my WONDERFUL husband.  HAPPY BIRTHDAY JOJO!  Thank you for loving me every second, every minute every hour of the day, you truly are God's good and perfect gift to me that goes  back to Genesis 1:1 In the beginning GOD.  I pray that by God's grace, we will sail into the sunset of lives together, heart to heart, hand in hand, serving the Lord together until God takes us to our heavenly home.

"But when He saved my soul

cleansed and made me whole

it took a miracle of love and grace" (one of Jojo's favorite hymn)

Bus Fare

It was a cold and windy night as i hurried to pop open the trunk of my car to load my groceries.  Then i heard it, a sweet yet polite voice, "excuse me do you happen to have a dollar to spare"? then i saw them a cute young couple.  She had on a brown leather jacket, and wore a yellow flower on her hair.  He had a big smile when he asked me, "are you Filipino"? I replied yes and he started conversing with me in tagalog.  He told me that his mom was Filipino and his dad was German, and he's been living here in the US for 17 years.  Wow, his tagalog was better than mine.  I asked them what they needed the dollar for.  They said for bus fare to West Covina.  He said they both paid tuition at nearby Citrus College and discovered they had no money left to get home.  While i could have easily dismissed them as opportunist, something inside compelled me to reach into my wallet and hand them a $5.00 bill.  He was appreciative.  I  told them about our church on the corner of shadow oak and creekside park.  He said yes they will check it out.  Oh by the way if he should show up at CFBC, his name is Ryan.

As I pulled out onto the busy street,  I passed them by, hand in hand headed for the bus stop.  I pray that they feel the love of God in that five dollar bill and take them past West Covina,  into God's Kingdom.

Suddenly the night was not as cold anymore!
